A female police officer shot herself to death after an argument with a fellow police officer inside an apartment they lived in at barangay Sambag 1, Cebu City early this morning.
Field training officer Heidi Garcia shot herself on her chest using the service firearm of PO1 Cyrelle Marie Bayate of the Pari-an police precinct.
Bayate told investigators that she was preparing for work when she got into an argument with Garcia. She said the 27-year-old Garcia got jealous of someone she talked to over the phone.
Garcia was immediately brought to the hospital but died before she came there.
