Cebu realtors go on US sales mission

A group of  real estate agents has started a 15-day sales mission in the United States of America to sell Cebu’s real estate products.

Leuterio Realty and Brokerage Inc., president and chief executive officer Anthony Leuterio said the group, consisting of 48 real estate agents  will visit at least five states in a two-week roadshow. Their itenerary  including New Orleans, Los Angeles, New Jersey, New York, and San Francisco.

Leuterio said that the group expects to generate P200 million to P300 million worth of sales deals or  80 to 100 condominium units.

“We’ve been doing this for four years and going there to directly market our products has always been one of the effective marketing and sales events for the real estate sector, specifically for developers, brokers and sales people, as actual sales and closing of deals are immediate,” he said.

He added that demand is very strong among Filipinos in the U.S. as well as foreigners who are looking for good condominium properties in Cebu.

Last year, Leuterio said they generated around P150 million from a similar sales mission to the U.S.

This year’s sales mission is supported by seven property development companies including AppleOne Properties, Inc., Contempo Property Holdings, Inc., King Properties Corp., Duros Land Properties Inc., Primary Homes, Inc., Cebu Landmasters Inc., and Tambuli Properties.

“The group has scheduled an international convention, where developers will be presenting their respective products to the American market in New York this week.

There will also be an open-house category during the convention. So far, there are already 300 to 400 buyers registered to attend the Real Estate International Convention,” he said.

According to Leuterio, there are over 6,000 condominium inventories in Cebu that are up for sale including those that are scheduled to be completed in the next two to three years.
