Vero and Jun Escario shop in Marriott Hotel

With over 20 years in the industry, countless features, numerous fashion spreads, and awards, it is no surprise that home grown Cebuano Jun Escario is one of today’s most sought after designers in Philippine fashion. After years of establishing a name for himself in Manila’s A-list, he returns home with a newly opened boutique at the lobby of Cebu City Marriott Hotel.

Being a household name in today’s fashion industry, Escario expresses he opened shop to increase exposure within Cebu and international clientele through guests visiting the hotel. “I’ve been concentrating work in Makati for the past decade and I want to know that I still accept clients in Cebu and that’s where they can see me from Mondays to Wednesdays. The rest of the week I’m in Makati.” Says, Escario.

Similarly to Jun’s boutique in Makati City’s high-end fashion district, Greenbelt 5, an ingenious collaboration with Vero by Gladys Young is also featured in the Marriott boutique. Both talented designers complement each other’s creations – Vero with her luxurious one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces and Jun Escario’s distinct elegant collection makes the perfect ensemble for those looking for a seamless sophisticated fashion.

Escario adds, “The ready to wear pieces you will find in Marriott also has a more relaxed, resort feel. It is not as formal as ones you’ll find in my Greenbelt 5 boutique.” Although Escario’s display at the Marriott is geared to the more laid back lifestyle of the Cebuano’s, he looks forward to being able to showcase a collection which is currently in the works – catering to brides-to-be who have always dreamt of walking down the aisle in a Jun Escario. Jun’s ready-to-wear bridal collection will soon launch towards the end of 2013.

Visit Jun Escario + Vero boutique at the Level 1, Cebu City Marriott Hotel, Cardinal Rosales Avenue, Cebu City from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
