SM City Cebu kicks of its Sinulog celebration with the start of the 12-day Sinulog Cut & Style at the Main Mall on January 4, 2023, Wednesday. Get your Sinulog shirts from Islands Souvenirs and make it your very own! More accessories like flash tattoos, festival dusts, whistles, hair chalks, headdresses, iron-on stickers for shirts, and cap embellishments will be available for everyone to use.
For those who cannot make it to the Basilica Minore del Sto.Nino, SM malls in Cebu City will hold a live streaming of the Novena Mass starting January 5, and will continue until January 15, both at the SM City Cebu main mall and SM Seaside City Cebu Cube Wing.
At SM Seaside City, the Cebu Marathon Race Expo will happen at the Mountain Wing Atrium from January 5 to January 7. Registered runners may claim their race kits during the expo. The race is set to start and end in SM Seaside Complex on January 8, 2023.

Beginning January 6 to 15, SM City Cebu will feature the Sinulog Trade Fair where locals, balikbayans, and visitors can buy Cebuano specialty products. On display are popular local products like ukulele and guitars; accessories and home furnishings made from seashell or wood; chicharon, torta, tableya, rosquillos, and other Cebuano delicacies.
Other activities to watch out for are AweSm Cebu Tiktok Online Contest and the AweSm Cebu Center piece and Photo Spots around the Mall.
For the devotees of the Sto. Nino, there will be a 9-day Southern Devotion Sto. Niňo Exhibit on January 8 at SM Seaside City’s Cube Wing Atrium. SM City Cebu on the other hand has partnered with various artists and collectors to come up with an exhibit that promotes and propagates the deep devotion of the Cebuano people toward the Sto. Niño. The 8-day Sto. Niňo Exhibit will start on January 9 at the Main Mall. .
On January 9, SM Seaside will open the 7-day AweSM Cebu Artscape: Large Scale Art Installation featuring Anthony Fermin and Doro Barandino at the Mountain Wing Atrium.
Born in 1976, Visayan artist Fermin has exhibited in Negros, Cebu, Manila, Malaysia, Germany, Austria, and the United States, while Doro Barandino is also a well-known curator and fashion designer in Cebu.

Lechon lovers will enjoy a wide array of choices at the 4-day AweSM Lechon Fest starting January 12, while beauty pageant enthusiasts will surely appreciate watching the Sinulog Festival Queen Runway Competition scheduled on the same day at the Mountain Wing Atrium of SM Seaside City Cebu.
Come January 13, mallgoers will enjoy varied activities both at SM City Cebu and SM Seaside starting with the AweSM Cebu Sale, which will surely delight shoppers. Get festive as you treat yourself and your family with good bargains from participating stores.
On the same day, SM City Cebu will hold the AweSM Cebu Festival Parade around the mall. Sing and dance with your favorite Cebuano bands at the AweSM Cebu Music Fest at the North Wing Atrium from January 13-15.
Other events in SM Seaside City Cebu on January 13 will include the AweSM Cebu Petstival at the Paw Park, AweSM Cebu Festival on Ice at the SM Ice Skating Rink and the AweSM Cebu Sinulog Dance Parade around the mall.
Calling all families and friends, party with good music, drinks, and a night of bowling at the AweSM Cebu Bowling Party at SM Bowling in SM Seaside City on January 14.
