‘Tis the season for fake peso bills
Police yesterday warned the public on the proliferation of counterfeit currency notes this Christmas season.
Chief Supt. Prudencio Bañas, chief of the Police Regional Office (PRO-7), said the circulation of fake bills could extend until the Sinulog celebration in January.
Supt. Romeo Santander, chief of the City Intelligence Branch (CIB), admitted they have received reports of fake peso bills being circulated.
