IT’S green and go for tonight’s boxing spectacle at the Borbon Sports Complex as Omega Boxing Gym stalwarts Christian Araneta and Jason Canoy easily passed the test of the weighing scales.

The unbeaten Araneta (6-0 with 5KOs) and his opponent Belmar Plaza of the Rex Wakee Salud Gym tipped the scales at 115lbs.

“Andam na tanan. Tan-aw nako mo lahutay jud ni si Plaza kay experienced man sad ni nga boxer pero paninguhaon namo nga dunay knockout mahitabo,” Araneta’s trainer Christopher “Pingping” Tepora told CDN.

Meanwhile, Canoy (21-5-2, 15KOs) and his foe Louie Arlos (9-4, 2KOs) also tipped the scales at 115lbs during yesterday’s official weigh-in at the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) office in Cebu city.

Jason Redondo (9-2-1, 7KOs) and Jerry Nardo (20-5, 11KOs) weighed an identical 127lbs while the rest of the undercard fighters and their weights are: Jerry Castroberde (130lbs) vs. Junjesie Ibgos (130lbs); Ponciano Rimandiman (113lbs) vs

Renan Portes (113lbs); Marjun Pantilgan (110lbs) vs Allan Doronila (110lbs); Tom Jones Magbanua (122lbs) vs Argie Emendo (122lbs) and Marvin Masong (122lbs) vs Honorato Boc (122lbs).
