Kaya still club to beat
Kaya FC Iloilo, the former PFL champion, has a chance to retake the top spot as they clash with the Gentle Giants on April 23, at the Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Complex. Their match will be the kick-off of the four home game series for the Gentle Giants.
On paper, the Gentle Giants have the upper hand as they beat Kaya twice in their previous meetings. One of it was their 3-2 victory against Kaya at the same venue last October 9.
Still, Kaya remains the club to beat in the PFL and Saturday’s match will be pivotal for both clubs.
Laguna FC, Azkals next
After Kaya, the Gentle Giants will host the No. 5 team Stallion Laguna FC twice on May 21 and May 24. It can be recalled that CFC was supposedly to host Stallion last October 23, but this was cancelled at the last minute.
