After being held virtually for three years, this year’s Transformation Summit will be back up close and personal, on May 26, 2023, from 1 PM to 9 PM, at the Sinulog Grand Ballroom, Cebu City Sports Club, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City.
The event will bring together the biggest names and experts in Digital Transformation, FinTech, Global Shared Services, Artificial Intelligence, and other crucial and sought-after topics that require discussion in today’s modern society.
A media launch was held last May 4, 2023, at Seda Central Bloc, spearheaded by CIB.O President Aseem Roy, Executive Director Buddy Villasis, and Board of Trustees Darwin John Moises and Christina Quebrata.
CIB.O is excited to leverage the next steps beyond the next-level play. The summit aims to dive deep into where the IT-BPM and other related industries should be heading to stay ahead of the transformation.
Moreover, the organizers will focus on keeping the momentum going for the betterment of not just the businesses and the economy but also each and every Filipino as we emerge from the pandemic.
Going Beyond the Next Level Play
This year’s installation of Transformation Summit is unique, highlighting new events like never before, said Villasis.
Besides getting in-depth into relevant topics like FinTech, Metaverse, AI, Global Shared Services Market, and more, the most awaited event of the IT-BPM sector will also hold a hackathon event on May 25, 2023. On top of that, CIB.O will acknowledge the Top 10 IT-BPM Companies in Cebu.
Attendance of major industry players, decision-makers, and influencers in government, academe, and support industries across Asia Pacific is expected, as well as power speakers from the international, national, and local arena.

In a press conference during the media lunch, Moises discussed that the 2023 Digital Transformation Summit promises to be more inclusive as it has been decided to split the event into two different schedules. Since the event expects students and employers, having separate schedules make it easier for the attendees to choose what program to attend.
