‘Jollybe’ eludes Suba drug raid; 3 suspected cohorts fall

Police seized packs of suspected shabu amounting to almost  P1 million in an anti-drug raid in barangay Suba, Cebu City shortly before midnight yesterday.

The subject of the raid, Jollybe Inso, was able to elude arrest but three of his alleged cohorts were arrested.

The raid was based on the search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Gilbert Moises of Branch 18.

Arrested were identified as Kevin  Inso, Allan Arong Alce and Marcial Sere Inso, who were cornered inside Inso’s house.

At least 20 packs of suspected shabu were recovered from Kevin’s possession, while Alce yielded 26 sachets believed to contain shabu, said police.

A .45 caliber pistol was recovered from Marcial’s possession.

Police also invited Marcial’s wife Gina for questioning.

Police said Inso was able to notice the presence of the raiding team and fled through the back door of the house’s comfort room.

The operation was conducted by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group , City Intelligence Branch (CIB) and Sawang Calero police station.

At least 13 mediums packs and 91 small packs of suspected shabu were recovered inside Inso’s house.

Supt. Romeo Santander, chief of CIB, said the seized packs of suspected shabu were worth at least P700,000.

Santander said Jollybe is considered a level two drug pusher capable of selling more than 200 grams of shabu a week.
