IN the span of three days, Mandaue City has had 3 fires with the latest leaving  three houses razed and another one damaged.

The cause of the fire that razed the houses of Conchita Flores and Carlos Amistad in barangay Cambaro was still undetermined, said SFO1 Cipriano Codilla Jr.

Damaged in the fire was the house owned by Reynaldo Satan.

The fire broke out past 11 p.m. last Thursday. It was put out in 10 minutes.

Codilla said the fire started from the house of Flores. The fire spread quickly since the house was made of light materials.

No one was reported injured in the incident. Damage was pegged at P80,000.

Last Tuesday, a lumber yard in barangay Ibabao-Estancia was damaged by fire while a house in barangay Centro also caught fire last Wednesday.

Codilla said it was the fifth fire incident in Mandaue this year, one in January and four this month.

A total of P300,000 worth of property was destroyed in the series of fire incidents.
