A 36-YEAR-OLD man was found dead   with a gunshot wound in the chest in his home  in  Dumanjug town, southern Cebu.

Police said Alberto Nada, who was suffering from a nervous breakdown, was believed to have shot himself with an improvised shot gun locally known as pugakhang.

PO3 Rafael Alvero of the Dumanjug police station said it was around 8 a.m. when the man’s relatives heard a gunshot.

Some relatives rushed to the second floor of the man’s house and found him  slumped on the floor bleeding.  The improvised gun was found near the man’s body.

Some relatives told police that before the incident, Nada had been hallucinating  and complaining that there were people out to kill him.

Police said the man’s relatives are convinced that  Nada’s death  was a  suicide.

In a separate incident, the body of a 14-year-old boy was  found floating in a river in barangay Tan-anias, San Fernando town, Cebu last Thursday morning.

Chief Insp. Sarah Jean Recla said the boy was reported to have had a  nervous breakdown.  Recla said  the boy may have accidentally fallen in the river and drowned.
