Solane iStyle, Dewfoam chalk up victories

BATCH 1997-Solane iStyle and Batch 1988-Dewfoam posted contrasting victories last Saturday in the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball Association (Cecaba) 14th Dr. Chen Lieh Fu Memorial Cup at the CEC Gym.
Batch 1997 dominated the game from start to finish to bury a badly depleted Batch 2005-Headway Motorcycle Hub, while Batch 1988 went through some anxious moments before escaping Batch 2006-1st ACY Shipping Corp./Cebu Regal Pension House.
Bagging its third win in six games, Batch 1997 was led by the triumvirate of Timothie Tan, Bryan Labus and Mark Henry CO, who scored 15, 14 and 11 points, respectively.
Batch 2005, which only had five available players, got a game-high 25 points from Ryan Chua. Nikko Tiu chipped in 15 and Kent Uy had 12 in the team’s fifth loss in six outings.
Gregorio Aguilar scattered 24 points in Batch 1988’s fourth win in seven starts, while Rey Kenneth Ng and Robert Lim had 15 and 12, respectively.
