Five houses and an apartment burned down yesterday in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.
The fire, which broke out at 4:52 p.m. , started in the kitchen of a carenderia attached to the house of Noah Verano.
It was not immediately known what caused the fire, which damaged property worth P200,000, according to Cebu City Fire Marshall Rogelio Bongabong.
Another fire struck the golf cart garage of Cebu Country Club Thursday evening.
An overcharged golf cart that was left unattended may have set off the fire, said arson investigator SF03 Daniel Relatado.
The fire took place about 9 p.m. in barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City and caused P50,000 worth of damage.
It was contained at 10:14 p.m.
