Daniel Padilla surprised netizens when the actor-singer deleted some of his breakup statement with lone-time beau Kathryn Bernardo on Instagram.
Last Nov. 30, Padilla and Bernardo announced their breakup after an 11-year romance through separate statements on their respective Instagram accounts, where the “Nasa Iyo Na ang Lahat” singer addressed the latter using the endearment “Bal.”
“11 years. KD. Pagibig. Sa mundo, buhay at sa limitadong oras na tayo ay nandito, isang malaking biyaya ang pagmamahal. Ang mahalin ka. At mahalin mo,” he wrote. “Ang mga alaala natin ay laging kong baon sa aking puso at magiging liwanag sa mga madidilim kong araw.”
(11 years, KD. Love. On earth, life and the limited time we’re here, love is a huge blessing. To love you. And being loved by you. I will always keep our memories in my heart as light in my dark days.)

In the now-deleted statement, Daniel also thanked Bernardo for “dancing with [him] during [his] highs” and “singing during [his] lows,” while expressing his gratitude to their dedicated fans.
“Our lives may drift away, but our love will still ride that tide. Kathniels, Maraming salamat sa pag mamahal ninyo. maraming salamat sa napaka gandang pinag samahan natin,” he said. “Hinding hindi namin ipagpapalit at hindi maku-kumpara kahit anong pang gawin nila. Hinding hindi nila pwedeng sirain yun. This is beyond show business.”

But on Thursday, Dec. 14, eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Daniel had removed his original statement on Instagram, replacing it with the brief line: “Ikaw at ako (You and me).”
Daniel, however, has yet to address the change in his Instagram post as of this writing.
Daniel was speculated to be romantically involved with Andrea Brillantes and Gillian Vicencio, which was reported by Ogie Diaz on his vlog, although the showbiz writer clarified that he merely cited rumors from insiders.
Vicencio immediately denied the allegations on her X (formerly Twitter) page, but Brillantes has yet to issue a statement to this day.
On the other hand, Bernardo clarified in her breakup statement that there was no third party involved and that they simply grew apart.
