GMA-7/dySS stays unbeaten in NBAC

GMA-7/DYSS remained unbeaten in the ongoing 2015 Newsmen Basketball Association of Cebu (NBAC) tournament by beating Cebu Daily News-Inquirer, 84-78, yesterday at the Cebu Eastern College gymnasium.

The Kapuso cruised  to the semifinal round unbeaten after four games to gain a twice-to-beat advantage.

Gabriel Bonjoc exploded for 28 points for the top-ranked GMA while Calvin Cordova led the losing team with 18.

CCTN/dyHP, meanwhile, ousted Sun.Star Cebu and clinched the last semifinal berth with an 83-58 decision.

In the semis, GMA takes on CCTN while CDN-Inquirer faces TV5 starting this Sunday. The Kapuso and the Siloys will have  twice-to-beat advantages for being the no. 1 and no. 2 teams.
