The Traffic Enforcement Agency of Mandaue (TEAM) is planning to reroute other northbound vehicles from the reclamation area to S.B. Cabahug St. and make the UN Avenue a one-way street.
Vehicles using the S.B. Cabahug St. towards Barangay Centro and Soriano St. to the reclamation area will have to use P. Burgos Street which will also be one-way.
There was no mention when the rerouting will be implemented but wants it as soon as possible.
Based on the statistics from the City Planning Office, there are 377,778 vehicles that passes Mandaue City a day.
The ongoing road works and drainage projects are also adding to the traffic congestion in the city.
