Dosmiluno-Lite Shipping is Division 2 champion,

THE 2001 Dosmiluno-Lite Shipping ran away with the championship in Division 2 as they routed the 1994 Bulldogs, 83-55, in the finals of the University of San Carlos North Alumni Basketball Conference Summer League yesterday at the USC North Campus gym along Mango Avenue.

Carlo Campos led the onslaught with 22 points while Laurence Parrotina pitched in 18 of his own.

Man-mountain AJ San Juan added 11 markers and was eventually named the Most Valuable Player of the division.

The losing side was led Sigmundo Cabrera, who scored 16. However, nobody else reached double figures for the Bulldogs.

San Juan, a former standout for the USC Warriors varsity squad, also made the division’s Mythical Five squad, where he was joined by his teammate Conrad Plando, the 1999ers Fritz Villamor, the Bulldogs’ Sigmundo Cabrera and 2000 Millennium’s Lex Lauron.

Division 2 third place honors was won by the 1999ers after they blasted the Millennium, 105-82.

DIVISION 1 CHAMPS
Meanwhile, the 1985 Androids-Aceite de Manzanilla escaped with a thrilling 55-53 win over the 1993 Dragons to bag the title in Division 1.

The 1986 Mighty Geeks won third place after they beat the 1988 Barakos, 90-53.
