Two men in possession of illegal drugs, were arrested last Friday in Lapu-Lapu City.
Jeoffrey Pepino, 29, of sitio Tugas, barangay Pardo, Cebu City, a utility worker, was arrested after he tried to escape with his motorcycle a police checkpoint at Hangar General Aviation road in barangay Basak.
He was caught with seven small sachets believed to contain shabu and a loaded .38 caliber revolver.
An hour later in barangay Bankal, police arrested Weber John Aton, 34, after he sold two sachets of shabu to a policeman during a buy-bust operation.
Police also confiscated from Aton drug paraphernalia and a medium pack of suspected shabu, and P690 cash.
