The last leg of the three-leg series Runfest 2015 of Takbo.Ph will be held here in Cebu on Sept. 27 starting at the Plaza Independencia.

The series started at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City last July 12 while the second leg will be in Bacolod City on Aug. 20.

The race is organized by the Manila-based Leadpack Race Organizer while Coco Running’s Joel Juarez of Cebu is the race director.

The race offers 21-kilometer, 10k and 5k distances.

Unlike other races, the Runfest will give all finishers a specially designed finishers’ medal. In other footraces, only finishers of long distances are given finishers’ medals.

Registration fee for the 21k race is P750 (P1,400 for a pair) while the 10k fee is at P550 (P1,000/pair). The 5k fee is pegged at P450 (P800/pair). The fees are inclusive of the race bib, singlet, refreshments, raffle coupon and finishers’ medal.

The running event is for the benefit of the Make A Wish Foundation, which helps children who are suffering life threatening diseases.
