Charges were filed yesterday against the three laborers arrested for killing and burying a woman and her 11-year-old daughter in their home’s septic tank in Minglanilla town.

Manuel Labrador, Estelito Ricamora, and George Baquiran were brought by police to the Cebu Provincial Prosecutors’ Office where charges of double murder and robbery were filed.

When presented before Prosecutor Mary Ann Degamo, the three accused waived their right to a preliminary investigation  and the chance to submit counter-affidavits.

Chief Insp. Richard Gadingan of the Minglanilla Police Station said at least three neighbors of the victims executed affidavits against the three accused.

Gadingan said Ricamora also executed an extra-judicial confession which bolstered their case.

Ricamora accused Labrador of killing the victims.
