Search on for Pantawid Pamilya model kids

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas (DSWD 7) is once again opening the Search for the Pantawid Pamilya Exemplary Children.

The search will recognize the achievements of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program children beneficiaries.

The search is open to children beneficiaries who are 10-14 years old, exposed to the program for at least a year and is currently in school.

“We’re looking for children who set excellent examples at home, in school, and in the community where they belong,” said DSWD 7 Director Mercedita Jabagat.

The provincial search is slated on Sept. 17 in Bohol, Sept. 22 in Siquijor, Sept. 24 in Negros Oriental and Sept. 25 in Cebu.

The regional awarding will be on Oct. 9 in Cebu City.

There will be three provincial winners per province. Winners will take home cash prizes, certificate of recognition and Kaya Ko ang Pagbabago merchandise.

Top provincial winners will automatically compete for the regional search with P8,000 cash as grand prize. Runners-up will also receive P6,000, P4,000, P2,500, respectively.
