Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, in partnership with ICanServe Foundation, joins the rest of the world in continuing the fight against breast cancer with their “Waterfront goes Pink “ campaign–a month long initiative to raise both awareness and funds in the fight against the most prevalent cancer today. According to the Philippine Society of Medical Oncology, the Philippines have the lowest survival rate of people with breast cancer among 15 Asian countries. Breast cancer accounts for 15 percent of all new cancer cases in the Philippines for both sexes with 3 out of 10 Filipinas predicted to get breast cancer before reaching their 75th birthday. Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino invites everyone to make a difference through participating and engaging in charitable acts, which are integral to its corporate social responsibility (CSR), offered throughout the hotel.

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino is offering signature pink promotions we’ve dubbed as Fifty Shades of Pink—fifty things to do for fifty great reasons to care. This offering includes a one (1) night room accommodation with free buffet breakfast at UNO and a Php50.00 donation to the ICanServe Foundation for every room night of stay, to show support and provides hope to women suffering from this deadly disease.

For the Waterfront outlets, a barrage of great deals are being offered. For every USD50.00 spent at Victoria’s Secret, guests will get a 5% discount. Starting 7PM, Madeleine will also go 50% off. Lunch (12NN to 1PM) and dinner (6PM to 7PM) have never been better as UNO slashes 50% off. Booze and fun have never been more exciting as Treff offers 50% off on its cocktail of the month. For ease, the hotel is offering complimentary shuttle services from the hotel to SM and Ayala Center. Also, compliments of the hotel, its 24-hour gym with steam room and sauna is also ready for use. Never stay out of touch as the hotel has free WiFi in all its guest rooms. Also, the hotel offers the free use of its swimming pool and free entrance to the Casino Filipino.

Lasting the entire month of October, the Waterfront Dome will be illuminated with pink light from 6-10 PM. For the first time ever, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino goes all out in its support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. “This October, we want to encourage Cebuanos and hotel guests to help spread our awareness message,” says Arnel Aparis, the Waterfront Marketing Communications Manager. “We are happy to partner with ICanServe Foundation, Inc., and assist them with raising funds and awareness for this prevalent disease that has claimed the lives of millions. This is our advocacy for Filipinos to come face to face with this life-threatening condition and proactively deepen their involvement in this noble cause that will save the lives of countless daughters, sisters, mothers and wives.”

ICanServe Foundation, Inc., formerly known as the Information on Breast Cancer and Other Services is a non-stock, non-profit organization that advocates early breast cancer detection through breast self-examination. Its mission is to arm women with breast care health and breast cancer information so they can make informed decisions about their health. It also provides access to special services that will help the breast cancer survivor recover and heal more effectively.

Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino is one of the well-known landmarks in the City of Cebu and is the premier venue for events and conventions in the country. Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino is located at Salinas Drive, Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines.
