THE UNIVERSITY of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) manhandled the Abellana National High School, 88-19, in the under-15 Division 1-B at the start of the Cebu Youth Basketball League last weekend at the Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts along Mango Avenue.

Lhuillier Vis-Min Goodwill Games.
In this tournament, a total of 70 squads are competing across seven divisions.
In other results in the same division, the University of the Visayas (UV)-A beat Ateneo de Cebu 1, 46-33.
In the under-15 Division 2-A, Ateneo de Cebu 2 returned the favor and crushed UV-B while in the under-15 Division 2-B, Ateneo de Cebu 3 turned back the Abellano girls squad, 38-28.
In the under-10 B, UV creamed Ateneo de Cebu, 34-11 while in the under 12 Division 1, Ateneo de Cebu edged UV, 45-44.
Finally in the under 18 Division 1, the University of San Carlos (USC) B Warriors routed the Ateneo de Cebu, 83-34 while Ateneo de Cebu’s Passerelle squad squeaked past Abellana, 49-47, in Division 2-A action.
