American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson will be opening next month a dealership in Mandaue City.

Salvador Reyes, general manager of Harley-Davidson Cebu, said the showroom and service center will be located at the RDAK compound along A.S. Fortuna Street in Mandaue City.

In a press conference held last Wednesday at the Henry’s Hotel, Reyes said the dealership—the second for the famous motorcycle brand in the Philippines with the other located in Quezon City—will be opened Nov. 21.

Joining Reyes in the press launch was Regan Rex T. King, CEO of RDAK Global Motors Inc., which is responsible for the Harley-Davidson Cebu dealership.

Harley-Davidson was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA in 1903. The opening of its second dealership in the country is part of the company’s bid to grow in the Asian market.

“We are more than excited to be the conduit of Harley Davidson,” Reyes said. “We heard a lot of positive response from local Harley Davidson and big bike clubs in Cebu about the opening of the first ever Harley Davidson dealership here.”

Aside from selling some of the brand’s best cruiser motorbikes such as the Harley-Davidson Street 750, the dealership will be offering Harley-Davidson parts and accessories and provide servicing for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. King said the showroom will also sell Harley-Davidson clothing and lifestyle products.

To make sure that the dealership will be a complete package, King said they hired a designer from Europe for the showroom and brought in two expert mechanics from Korea and Qatar for the servicing needs.

Prices for Harley Davidson cruiser motorcycles that will be available locally will start at P495,000.
