Cash-rich ‘Play it Forward 2’ badminton event set Oct 24

Big cash prizes are at stake for the winners of the “Play It Forward II” of the Primary Group of Builders Badminton Club slated on October 24 at the Metrosports Badminton courts in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
There will be seven levels to be disputed in the one-day badminton tournament which expects to draw in around a hundred pairs to compete.
The Levels A/B men’s and mixed doubles champion will bring home P10,000 for each pair while the women’s doubles winners in levels A/B/C will receive P8,000.
In the level D men’s, women’s and mixed doubles categories, the winning pairs will each pocket P7,000 while the runners-up in those levels will each receive P3,500 cash prize.
For level E, the champion pairs in the men’s, women’s and mixed doubles will receive P6,000 while P3,000 goes to the runners-up. The Level F winning pairs in men’s, women’s and mixed doubles will each get P5,000 purse while the runners-up will get P2,500. Level G champions will bank P3,000 for all three categories while the runners-up will win P1,500.
Tournament organizers from the Primary Group of Builders Badminton Club also added an executives class in men’s doubles.
Registration is going on at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC), Metrosports Lahug and Primary Structures Corporation office along V. Rama St. Registration is pegged at 700 per person inclusive of shirt and P500 for the second without shirt.  The tournament’s second leveling session is scheduled this Saturday at the Metrosports Lahug.
