A 50-YEAR-OLD barangay tanod was found dead at home with a gunshot wound in the head in barangay San Roque, Talisay City.
Police said the Ramon Pagubo was alone drinking in the kitchen just before the incidnet, and appeared to have shot himself.
PO3 Jonel Ater said the tanod had heard rumors that his live-in partner had a relationship with another man.
Police said the man’s sons aged 14 and 15 heard their father threatening to kill himself. The boys rushed to the kitchen after a gunshot rang out and found their father bloodied with a gunshot wound in his right temple. A.38 caliber revolver with two bullets and a spent shell in its cylinder was found in the kitchen.
