SIX were injured, including five Cebu City Hall employees, when a government-owned multicab they were riding collided with a private vehicle at a crossing in  the South Road Properties (SRP) last Friday afternoon.

The city-owned multicab driven by Argiel Magan was about to turn left to Lapu-Lapu Extension when it collided with a Toyota Revo driven by Pedro Lapiz Jr.

The impact caused the multicab to overturn, said  Jonathan Tumulak, operations head of the Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO).

The mishap injured  passengers Ramir Abadilla, Ricardo Aguhar, Ronnie Labra and one  Alyas Bao, all workers of  City Hall.

Kevin Perez, a passenger of the Toyota Revo, was also hurt.

Tumulak said it was possible that the five government workers hitched a ride on the multicab on their way to City Hall.

The incident is still under investigation to determine who was liable for the accident.
