CEBUANO tennis sensation Arthur Craig “Iggy” Pantino bounced back from his semifinals loss over the weekend after he smashed Japan’s Kaiti Inuoe, 6-3, 6-4, in Week 2 of the PSC-Phinma International Junior Tennis Championships yesterday at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City.

The 14-year-old tennis star fell short in his bid for the opening leg crown after losing to Yeongseok Jeong of China in the semifinals, 3-6, 2-6. But the Cebuano was relentless yesterday after he dominated his Japanese counterpart in straight sets to get closer to another shot at the trophy.

Also making it to the second round is another Filipino named Bryan Otico who annihilated, Yusuki Miyai, 6-3, 6-3.

Both Otico and Pantino have crossed paths in the quarterfinal round of the first leg with the latter winning, 6-4, 6-4.
