SHOWING its commitment to the sport of chess, the Cebu Executives and Professionals Chess Association (CEPCA) will launch its first commemorative magazine this Sunday.
The commemorative magazine will serve as CEPCA’s highlight of its 25th anniversary under the leadership of its President Engr. Jerry Maratas.
The commemorative magazine will be launched this Sunday during CEPCA’s Christmas party and the grand finals of its monthly tournament aptly dubbed as “Battle of Champions” at the Handuraw Pizza Gorordo.
“This magazine has been conceptualized to commemorate the 25 fruitful years of the association. This will reminisce the good old days of the club up to the time of our club’s founders. Further, this is to show that our club, despite already being the oldest in the country, is still very much alive and continues to remain relevant in Cebu chess,” said Maratas.
The 28-page, limited edition magazine is dubbed “Silver Shining, CEPCA@25.”
