TWO men were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Cebu City.
Leone Tapang Español, 32, allegedly sold a pack of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer when he was arrested by police in sitio Langub, barangay Guadalupe past midnight yesterday.
Police said 11 packs believed to contain shabu were seized from the man’s possession.
Last Wednesday, police arrested Jamelle Celocia Dela Cruz after packs of suspected shabu were found in her house in barangay Tinago.
Operatives of the Waterfront Police Station raided the woman’s house on the strength of a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Wilfredo Navarro.
Police said they seized and recovered from the house a medium-sized pack and 25 sachets of suspected shabu.
The woman’s live-in partner Raymond Paunilla Tan eluded arrest.
A big pack believed to contain shabu fell from the man’s pocket as he was about escape, police said.
