GIVING a sweet twist to the usual glitters and lights of the holiday season, Sarrosa International Hotel & Residential Suites partnered with The Chocolate Chamber in its annual tree lighting ceremony to launch the Christmas Balls of Hope.
Sarrosa’s towering tree situated right at the grand lobby of the hotel was adorned by Capiz stars with an attached card where attendees wrote their greetings of hope, peace and love to the beneficiaries of the event. For a price ranging from P150 to 500, a complimentary Cacao de Bola was given along with the decors.
The Christmas Balls of Hope is a fund-raising initiative for the benefit of Cacao de Filipinas Fellowship (CFF), an association that envisions the elevation of the stature of cacao farmers at the Municipality of Balamban.
The Chocolate Queen of Cebu and founder of The Chocolate Chamber and CFF, Raquel Choa mused that the partnership with Sarrosa rooted back to their common mission of ‘bringing back to the community and encouraging the people to help each other.’
