THE Civil Service Commission in Central Visayas (CSC 7) said during its Regional Advisory Council meeting yesterday that they will dismiss government employees who tested positive for drug use.

Acting CSC 7 Director Ariel Bacatan said they will follow Republic Act 9165 also known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 in imposing sanctions on erring employees.

“If a government employee is deemed positive for drugs, he will be forced to take a leave without  pay. He will also face administrative complaint and dismissal from service,” he said.
