THE ANNUAL Cebu International School (CIS) Kyle Weckman and James Jung Friendship Football Cup is set on March 5 and 6 at the school’s football field in barangay Pit-os, Cebu City.
In last year’s competition, around 60 football clubs joined the two-day event that aims to promote grassroots football in Cebu.
There will be 10 age groups that will be featured in this year’s tournament with some of Cebu’s top football clubs like Leylam FC, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) and CIS, expected to compete.
The age groups that will be open for competition are under seven, under-nine, under-13, under-18 girls, under-18 boys, under-11, under-15 boys, men’s open, BPO, inter-company and ladies open.
The tournament will follow a festival type format.
