AN ERRAND boy at the Cebu City Jail was arrested after he allegedly tried to smuggle illegal drugs into the facility last Tuesday afternoon.
Arnel Tapayan was caught in possession of packs of suspected shabu when he tried to enter the facility at 1:55 p.m.
About 30 minutes earlier, a visitor was arrested after guards found drug paraphernalia in the plastic bag he was carrying during the routine inspection.
A syringe was recovered from Robert Hoquillo, who is living outside the facility in barangay Kalunasan.
JO1 Emarcito Lyndo Bael said they suspected that the two men connived in trying to sneak in the packs of shabu and the syringe into the facility.
