Tricycle driver, Basak resident accused of trying to murder Lapu exec
A TRICYCLE driver and one other person were charged with conspiring to kill a barangay official of Basak, Lapu-Lapu City at the Lapu-Lapu City Prosecutor’s Office Tuesday afternoon.
Eric Saumay Empaso, a resident of sitio Iba, barangay Basak and Moto Daligdig, a tricycle driver and resident of Fuentes road, barangay Pajac were charged with frustrated murder by Basak barangay chairman Isabelito Darnayla.
Darnayla identified Empaso as the gunman and Daligdig as the driver who helped Empaso to pass in front of his vehicle and shoot him.
Police were unable to locate the suspects at their homes while Daligdig’s tricycle is at the police’s custody.
