Operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) killed a former policeman in a shootout in Toledo City on Tuesday night.
Supt. Rodolfo Albotra, PIB head, said Terry Tabulado fired shots at the police team who were supposed to serve a search warrant for drugs and explosives.
Tabulado, who held the position Police Officer 3 before he left the police service, was killed during the exchange of gunfire.
PIB operatives recovered several packs of shabu, drug paraphernalia, firearms, a hand grenade from Tabulado’s residence, Albotra added.
