THE SEARCH for the next homegrown basketball continues in Southern Cebu as kids ages 7 to 17 years old are invited to take part in the third annual San Fernando Basketball Camp this March 16 at San Isidro gymnasium in San Fernando Cebu.
Spearheaded by former varsity player Danny delos Santos, the training camp not only aims to develop the skills and self discipline of the children but also hopes to help kids stay away from illegal drugs.
“I want to teach them the basics of the game and to develop their ability and build friendship but most of all I want them to stay away from drugs” said Delos Santos.
The basketball camp will take place during Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Registration is pegged at P1,000, in which participants will receive a free ball.
