Vietnamese tops Binh Duong bike

TWENTY three year old Vietnamese Thi That Nguyen of Vietnam topped the 34km Stage 5 of the Binh Duong International Women’s Cycling Tournament-Biwase Cup 2016 in Nha Trang City, Vietnam yesterday.

The cyclist from Team Tap Doan Loc Troi AG won in 48 minutes and 46 seconds out of 64 riders. Japan’s Miho Yoshikawa and Malaysia’s Nurul Alissa Mohamad took home runner-up honors.

Philippine team’s Marella Vania Salamat finished in 20th place for the Filipinos and ranked 13th in the overall individual General Classification (GC).
Hiromi Kaneko of Japan, a 35 year-old racer topped the GC in 10:21:24 after five stages.
