More than P1-million worth of suspected shabu was confiscated and nine persons were arrested last Friday in three separate police anti-drug operations in Liloan town, northern Cebu and Toledo City, western Cebu.
In Liloan town, police arrested Kerwin Ted Tolo, 30, and her live-in partner in Barangay Jubay during a buy-bust operation at 3 p.m. and also confiscated several packs of suspected shabu, which police estimated to be worth at least P800,000.
At about the same time, Liloan police also raided a suspected drug den in Barangay Tayud, arrested seven persons and confiscated several packs of suspected shabu.
Those arrested were Esmeraldo Auman, 30; Christopher Velasquez, 23; Peter Paul Sano, 25; Glairwin Pitogo, 27; Welander Tagaro, 30; and Wilfredo Nodalo Jr., 25.
The suspects are detained at the Liloan police station pending the filing of charges.
Three hours later in Barangay Luray, Toledo City, police arrested James Lumantao and confiscated several packs of suspected shabu, with an estimated value of at least P600,000.
Lumantao is detained at the Toledo police station pending the filing of charges.
