THE Sta. Teresa de Avila Parish in Barangay Poblacion in Talisay City served as the venue for candidates to pledge their support for peaceful elections in May.

The three top mayoral candidates – re-electionist mayor Johnny delos Reyes (Liberal Party), former congressman Eduardo Gullas (Alayon) and Vice Mayor Romeo Villarante (NPC) – showed up during the covenant signing on Friday morning.

Officials from the Commission on Elections (Comelec), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the church officials acted as witnesses of the event.
