Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte endorsed the candidacy of Talisay City Mayor Johnny Delos Reyes.
In a visit to Talisay City Monday afternoon, Duterte raised the mayor’s hands and his slate. Duterte told reporters that it is only Delos Reyes who confirmed his support to his candidacy.
Asked if the Garcia-led One Cebu Party approached him or his camp to offer an alliance, Duterte said he has no knowledge about it. If there is any attempt, Duterte said he would have to talk to them.
The One Cebu party confirmed Monday morning that they severed their alliance with Vice President Jejomar Binay’s United Nationalist Alliance over his failure to coordinate his campaign sorties with their slate.
