10 Cebu projects shortlisted for Property Awards

SM Seaside City Cebu and nine property development projects in Cebu have been included in the short list of nominees for this year’s Philippines Property Awards.

Seaside, biggest mall in Cebu and in southern Philippines, is nominated in three categories: Best Retail Development, Best Retail Architectural Design, and Best Landscape Architectural Design.

Based on the list released through an advertorial yesterday, the projects in Cebu are nominated in the Best Condo Development, Best Housing Development and Best Office Development categories.

Homegrown developers AppleOne Properties, Inc.  and King Properties were nominated for the Best Boutique Developer category.

For Best Condo Development in Cebu, the nominees are: 8 Newtown Boulevard by Megaworld Corp.; AppleOne Banawa Heights by AppleOne Properties, Inc.; Avenir by King Properties; Mabolo Garden Flats by Primary Homes, Inc.; and The Courtyards at Brookridge by Primary Homes.

Vying for the Best Housing Development (Cebu) Award are Casa Mira Linao by Cebu Landmasters, Inc., Solare by Primary Homes, and Velmiro Heights by Cebu Landmasters.

The only Cebu project nominated in the Best Office Development category is BPI Cebu Corporate Center by Alveo Land. It is up against ArthaLand Century Pacific Tower by ArthaLand, Five E-comCenter by SM Prime Holdings, Menarco Tower by Menarco Tower, and Ore Central by Monte de Tesoro Corp.

Winners will be announced during the awards night on April 7 at Fairmont Makati.

The Philippines Property Awards, presented by Property Report, cites developments that have shown excellence in terms of design, architecture, green technology, and hospitality.
