Pagnanawon brothers shine in Camotes
CEBUANO brothers Jhunvie and Jay Bop Pagnanawon came up with podium finishes in the 11th San Francisco Camotes Cross Country Mountain Bike Challenge off in Camotes Island, Cebu yesterday.
Jhunvie topped the combined Juniors-Seniors category by finishing the race in one hour, eight minutes and 19.68 seconds.
Jonel Carcueva came in second at 1:08:19.74, while Jay Bop timed in at 1:08:19.80 to finish third.
Meanwhile, Joseph Carcueva dominated the veterans’ category with a time of 1:10:14.50 while Dongkey Sanchez ruled the Masters’ class at 1:06:14.10.
Alvin Dela Torre won the beginners’ category at 1:08:19.68 while Rome Sanchez emerged victorious in the Golden class at 1:14:08.89. Jimboy Batad bested the Executives’ category at 1:09:47.38. Pamela Jane Ruiz reigned supreme in the women’s class at 1:37:16.39.
In the Camotes Bikers division, Ronie Galon claimed the Category A title with a time of 1:21:49.01, while Roger Reguilla triumphed in Category B at 1:40:21.50.
