AFTER their impressive performances in the CITIGREEN Junior Tennis Cup the other day, Cebuano netters Marc Nicole Suson and Venz Alforque are back in action today as they vie in the 10th Cebuana Lhuillier Age Group Tennis Championships in Baybay, Leyte.
Suson and Alforque of the University of Cebu Webmasters (UC) made good account of themselves last Thursday by bagging the 16-under and 14-under boys titles, respectively.
They will be joined in Leyte by fellow Cebuanos Marc Pradel and Harland Hogan.
The event will also serve as a preparation for Suson and Alforque who are set to head to Thailand later this month to compete in the ITF Tennis Championships.
The 14-year old Alforque, who has been playing tennis since he was four years old, said that they will be accompanied by Shyne Villareal and Elizabeth Abarquez in Thailand on April 18-23.
