Van terminal to be transferred to SM Seaside City
Starting Tuesday next week, the temporary van terminal in Compania Maritima will be transferred to SM Seaside City.
Alan Jumoad, a van operator servicing the Toledo City route, said all the operators supported the move.
“We all agreed to the decision which is a result of a series of consultations with the Cebu City Terminal Accreditation Board (CCTAB),” he said.
Jumoad said they were informed by City Administrator Dr. Lucelle Mercado who chairs the CCTAB head.
There are 200 vans using the Compania Maritima terminal that service various routes in the south including Toledo City and the towns of Moalboal, Simala and San Fernando.
