CBM TANKERS SHINE IN ALASKA IRONKIDS

THE YOUNG tankers of Cebu City Blue Marlins (CBM) finished with flying colors in the second leg of the Alaska Ironkids at the Village Sports Club in Parañaque City last May 1.

Zurielle Kenzie Galo clocked nine minutes and 10 seconds to defeat Franchezka Borlain and claim the 6-8 category title.

Catherine Angeli Yu finished second in the 11-12 division behind Jaz Villanueva. Yu and Micah dela Cerna also won in the relay event of the 11-14 class.

Dhexia Myle Bersabal, Galo’s cousin, made it to the top-5 in the 9-10 class while Justin Yu landed sixth in the boy’s division.

Other winners were Joshua Alexander Ramos and Samantha (13-14), Clifford Pusing (11-12), Michael Gabriel Lozada and Aubrey Tom (9-10), and Daniel Louw (6-8).
