THE remains of an unidentified woman was found at the upland area in Sitio Tops, Barangay Malubog, Cebu City Friday morning.
SPO2 Wetzel Berry, homicide investigator, said the woman appeared to have a head injury.
He said a certain Lolito Oti went jogging in the area and headed to a grassy site to relieve himself when he smelled something rotting nearby. He looked around and saw the woman’s remains, half cloaked in a blanket.
He immediately called his brother, who called the barangay officials.
Barangay Malubog councilman Boy Bulacano said the woman may have been murdered and her remains dumped in the area at night.
