FOLLOWING the departure of reigning Cebu Schools Athletics Foundation Inc. Most Valuable Player (MVP) Floremel Rodriguez earlier this week, the Southwestern University (SWU) Lady Cobras will again lose another player in Clavel Dejito.

Dejito formally made a decision to team up with Rodriguez in the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD).

The 17-year-old Dejito, a B.S. Criminology student, said that joining UPHSD was a personal choice.

Newly appointed SWU women’s head coach Roy Ulan said there is no reason to worry about the departure of the two as they have already acquired new players

“Both new players are from Lapu-Lapu City but I cannot give the names since they are not yet enrolled at SWU,” Ulan said.
