SWU taps on Ateneo de Cebu player for SGVL Nationals
IN THE hopes of being more competitive in the national level, the Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras will be adding Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles star Jennifer Louise delos Santos to their lineup for the upcoming Shakeys Girls Volleyball League (SGVL) – National Finals slated July 1 to 7.
The venue for the tournament has yet to be announced.
Delos Santos, who led the Magis Eagles to a third place finish in the SGVL – Central Visayas Leg a few weeks ago, will serve as a guest player for the Cobras.
SWU mentor Roy Ulan said that the reason why he chose Delos Santos was because her game can complement with the offense-minded Cobras team.
“Delos Santos not only has the skills but also the winning attitude inside the court,” Ulan said. “I think she has a heart of a champion.”
