CEBUANO delicacies such as puto, bibingka and budbud will be served to 150 guests in the oath-taking ceremony of Lapu Lapu City officials led by re-elected Mayor Paz Radaza.

The delicacies will be paired with meat roll and juice. Radaza said she wanted to keep the ceremony at the city’s session hall as simple as possible.

The Lapu Lapu City mayor who is on her third and last term will take her oath before Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) judge Allan Francisco Garciano after noon Masses scheduled at the session hall on Thursday.

Radaza said she invited representatives of the city’s top 25 taxpayers to attend their inauguration and oath-taking.

But since the city’s session hall can only accommodate 150 people, Radaza said, they are setting up wide screens at the city hall lobby and the city hall grounds for their supporters and City Hall employees.
